  • New undergraduate degree program in Public Service!   • The World E-Government Mayors Forum was held in Seoul, Korea July 8 and 9. Click here for news coverage of the event, where Seoul was also presented with the award for the highest ranking of major world cities for e-government by Dean Holzer. The biennial survey is conducted by the E-Government Institute. Seoul also announced plans to boost their e-government capabilities. CALL FOR PAPERS:

  • The 2009 International Conference on e-Commerce, e-Administration, e-Society, and e-Education (e-CASE 2009) will take place January 8-10, 2009 in Singapore. Deadline for submission of abstract or paper is August 18, 2008.
  • The Political Science Department at the University of Connecticut invites you to participate in the first annual Graduate Student Conference on Democracy and Democratization to be held on February 27-28, 2009. Deadline for proposals is November 15, 2008.
  • International Journal of Public Sector Management (IJPSM) is requesting papers for a special issue on the theme of "Marketing Strategies for Public Performance". Full papers are due November 1, 2008. Author guidelines can be found here.
